How many seasons had passed in the dark underworld that was the SANAS No.1 Maximum Security Prison?
It was hard to tell. With no sunlight inside the cramped cells, time seemed to stop completely. The only indication of the seasons was how unbearable the temperature was. In the winter it was sandy and cold; in the summer it was sandy and hot.
But even though the cells were unchanging, Mikhail had changed.
He was taller now, thinner too, giving him a somewhat lanky build that was
