Fragment 1: The Second Harmony Wars
We arrived in Equestria by twenty long trains, seventeen war trains and three beefy freighters, using the new steel rails our two nations had built together not three years before. Spring wasn't quite in yet, but it was sunny when we arrived and pleasantly chilly. Field and forest were green, and the flowers the Equestrians had such a fondness for were in full bloom. It reminded me of Aviangnon, the city from which I had come a thousand leagues to defend. The station was a flurry of activity, with one-way tickets being given to civilians unfit for fighting or non-combat roles, heading towards the northern border. We were separated by a fence
